Family, we will do our best to help you and answer those challenging questions. We will have the type of conversations you would have in your living room or at the kitchen table or just relaxing and chilling at home with your close family & friends. No titles, no labels, no foolishness; just good old fashion real talk about what concerns us as a family and a race of people while finding the solutions to help make a positive difference where it is needed most.
We would like to take this opportunity to share with those who genuinely care, and with others who just seem to not have a clue about our reality, in addition to those who are so quick to say, "just get over it!" As concerned parents we need to shine a light addressing why it is not always as simple as "just getting over it."
YOU ARE EITHER PART OF THE SOLUTION, OR PART OF THE PROBLEM
Ask yourself, which role do you play? Should we have real conversations with our non black family and friends or continue to have feel good surface conversations. Should we continue to suppress our deepest feelings concerning racism and injustice? We hope to have an open dialogue with those who don't seem to understand our plight, but who are interested in learning and helping the betterment of our community while re-learning how to take care of family and home.
OUR VILLAGE FATHERS & SONS
While we are grateful for all of the resources that are available for our mothers and daughters, we do not want to overlook our fathers and sons. There's simply not enough resources for our MEN, fathers & sons. Let's work together to change this scenerio and make a real difference in the family household. Back To Top

Young People, Respect Yourself By Respecting Your Elders
Of course you can not really give what you do not have for yourself. Remember, real respect is earned, not bought. Be a part of the solution, not the problem. Seek help when you need it, find a mentor you can trust. Stay Encouraged. REMEMBER: YOU ARE LOVED!
Keep up with the latest family assistance programs and ways to get involved.
